Do you cover both north and south Fulton?
Yes, but they staff differently. North Fulton, Sandy Springs through Alpharetta and Johns Creek, is closest to our office and the easiest to cover on short notice. South Fulton, East Point through Palmetto, we staff from nurses who live in that direction. My child is being discharged from a hospital in Atlanta. When should I call?
Before discharge, not after. If a referral starts while your child is still admitted, the physician documentation and the Medicaid steps happen alongside the rest of discharge planning instead of after you get home alone with the equipment. Is Atlanta traffic going to affect my nurse showing up?
It is the honest reason we match by ZIP instead of by county. A nurse crossing the whole metro at shift change is a nurse who is eventually late. We would rather tell you we cannot cover a shift than fill it with someone who cannot sustain the drive.
